The highly branching plant has deeply colored stems and produces pale purple 2 inch blooms with white throats from mid-summer through first frost. The flowers are followed by small spherical seed pods encased in unusual papery husks that dry well. Most/full sun - Annual - 3-4 feet - 50+ seeds.
