Impatiens balsamina Grown in U.S. gardens since the 1700s, Garden Balsam is also called touch-me-not and lady’s slipper. A favorite heirloom that is hard to find, it is fondly remembered for its “exploding” seed pods that spring open at the slightest touch. The flowers are held close to the stem in rich reds, pinks, purple, and white. Blooms mid summer until frost. Most/full sun - 1-2 feet - Re-seeding annual - 50+ seeds/pack.
