Brought to the US as an ornamental in the late 1700s, Thomas Jefferson and his contemporaries grew it for both its attractive blade like foliage but also for the beautiful 2-3 inch bright orange spotted blooms, followed by seed pods that resemble blackberries. 20 seeds. Most/full sun. Plant seeds in warm conditions. Perennial. 2-3 feet
