(Asclepias currasavica) This is the Monarchs’ preferred Milkweed species when they are in Mexico. Beautiful yellow and red blooms are gorgeous in the garden and will be covered in all types of butterflies (including the Zebra Swallowtail pictured). Blooms continuously from mid-summer until frost from a warm planting (unlike the native Milkweeds which should be cold-sown). Excellent in containers (the only milkweed we have that thrives in a pot). Most/full sun - Plant seeds in warm conditions. 3-4 feet - Annual - 25+ seeds.
