Dianthus
The Dianthus group was given its name by the ancient Greeks – it translates to divine flower. The term “pink” as a color reference originated with the old English term for these flowers. Seeds should be planted in warm conditions.

(Dianthus superbus) Very sweet 1-2 inch blooms will be produced fully in the second year on plants that reach 18-24 inches tall. A patch of returning plants will be established after a few years. Most/full sun. 50+ seeds/pack.

Sweet William
(Dianthus barbatus) Sweet William was first described in 1500s England and is well known for its fragrance and pretty pink blooms. Two inch flowers in a mix of shades of pinks and reds are attractive to bees and butterflies as well. Plants are biennials but will fill in as a perennial. 18-24 inches, most/full sun. 50+ seeds/pack
